Ann Altamura-Sambrotto

Ann Altamura-Sambrotto, a wonderful mother and homemaker died June 8 at the age of 81. Born November 8, 1933 in Buffalo, New York to Mary and Cataldo Altamura.  She graduated in 1951 from Girls Vocational High School and then on to Design School in New York City. In the summer of 1953, at her parents cottage on Point Breeze Beach she met the love of her life Angelo Sambrotto and was later married on September 4, 1954.  She later moved to Napa, California in 1963 where she spent the rest of life.

Ann is survived by her two children Patrice Sambrotto-Orfanides and Michael (Debbie) Sambrotto her (Granddaughter) Angelina Patrice Sambrotto, (Godchild) Lani Sambrotto and (Brother) George Altamura(Jacqueline)  and sister in law Lucy Corsaro and Victoria Dezell and numerous nieces and nephews.

 She was predeceased by Angelo Sambrotto, son in law, Richard Orfanides, sister Esther Ruggiero, sister in law Helen Schroeder, brother, Frank Altamura and her parents. 

A Catholic Prayer Service will be held on Saturday June 20th at 11:00 am at Tulocay Mortuary Chapel, 411 Coombsville Road, Napa, CA. Visitation will be held on Friday June 19th from 12noon until 4:00 pm at the mortuary.

Donations in her name may be made to Queen of the Valley Hospital or American Cancer Society.
