Andy Ruiz

1957—2018

Andy Ruiz passed away unexpectedly with family by his side at his home in Vallejo Ca. He was born July 11th 1957 at St Helena Hospital to John and Angelina Ruiz.

Andy grew up in St. Helena. He worked at Charles Krug, Silverado Vineyards and retired from Stags’ Leap Winery. Andy had a great appreciation for the industry and for wine. Once retired, he focused all of his time on his children & grandchildren. Andy loved his family deeply. He had a large amount of friends that he gained along the way whom he considered family. He had a huge heart and an open door for all. His laugh and smile are things that will never be forgotten. Our hearts are broken, there will never be another Andy.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Ruiz. Mother; Angelina Ruiz. Children; Angela and Rick Cantrell, Sherri Ruiz, Susan and Cruz Ruiz, John Ruiz, Frank and Erin Ruiz, Tom Ruiz, Andy and Elizabeth Ruiz and Robert Ruiz. Grandchildren; Javier, Andrew, Junior, Jules, Courtney, Raymond, Ruben, Cruz, Curtis, Makaela, Kapone, Xavier,John, Jay, Jovani, Jerzi, Alexis, Anthony, Isaiah, Elijah, and Adrian. Sisters; Debbie, Cindy Annette,Patty and Erica. Brother-in-laws Gonzalo and Ottis, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at Tulocay Cemetery on April 20th 2018 at 1 pm with reception to follow.
